Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel, including guest rooms and common areas.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
- Complete preventive maintenance according to established schedules.
- Repair and maintain doors, locks, windows, drywall, flooring, furniture, and fixtures.
- Ensure all hotel equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance work areas and equipment.
- Assist with room inspections to identify maintenance needs before guest check-in.
- Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and local building codes.
- Maintain maintenance logs and complete work orders accurately.
- Assist with emergency repairs as needed.
- Work with outside contractors when necessary to complete specialized repairs.
- Help maintain the hotel's appearance by performing basic landscaping, painting, and general upkeep.
Skills
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair a variety of maintenance issues.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly to urgent maintenance requests.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, climbing ladders, bending, and kneeling.

- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts when needed.
