Overview
C.C.WC Logistics is currently hiring Class A CDL Drivers for a full-time, in person position hauling Freight for Trader Joe's in the Virginia area's. We are seeking dependable and motivated drivers to join our growing team.
This position may require drivers to assist with unloading freight at certain Virginia store locations from the front to back of the trailer. Drivers will have the flexibility to choose AM or PM runs base on availability.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A CDL vehicle while following all traffic laws and company safety procedures
- Transport and deliver freight to designated Trader Joe's locations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Assist with unloading freight at selected store location from the front to the back of the trailer when required
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Maintain proper logs and transportation documentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned ensuring both interior and exterior are clean and presentable
- Communicate effectively with dispatch management, and store personnel
- Maintain a professional attitude and provide dependable service
Experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of Class A CDL driving experience preferred
- Experience hauling a dry freight preferred
- Experience with store delivered and unloading freight is a plus
- Ability to safety operate tractor-trailers in various driving conditions
- Clean driving record record preferred
- Experience in completing pre-trip and post trip inspections
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Strong time management and communication skills
Pay: $1,800.00 - $2,000.00 per week
