Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through friendly and professional interactions
- Manage guest check-in and check-out processes efficiently using hotel management software
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with patience and proactive solutions to enhance satisfaction
- Maintain accurate reservation records and update room availability in real-time
- Operate multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to assist callers promptly and courteously
- Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met swiftly
- Conduct night audits when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy
- Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enrich guest experiences
- Uphold security protocols by monitoring access points and ensuring guest safety at all times
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of hospitality management practices and front desk operations
- Multilingual abilities or bilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse guests
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for guest relations and hospitality excellence
- Experience in hotel management systems, reservation software, or property management systems (PMS)
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems
- Ability to manage night audit procedures confidently while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with resort environments or large-scale hotels is a plus
- Proven ability to handle guest concerns professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of hotel experience standards, guest services, and hospitality best practices
