Food Prep / Kitchen Assistant

Responsibilities:
- Prepare fresh, high-quality small plates including washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients such as fruits, vegetables, and meats
- Prepare a selection of our signature house-made dips
- Assist in the execution of wine pairing dinners, supporting the team in delivering a seamless and elevated dining experience
- Fulfill tasting room orders accurately and efficiently
- Receive, label, and stock food inventory on properly organized, accessible shelves
- Monitor ingredient inventory and collaborate with kitchen and management staff to coordinate resupply orders
- Set up and maintain food prep workstations to ensure smooth, consistent food preparation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and managing waste disposal
- Adhere to all nutrition, food safety, and sanitation regulations and standards
- Maintain composure and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Provide a positive, friendly experience for both guests and team members
Job Type: Part-time | 25–30 hours per week weekend availability is required.
Experience & Requirements:
- Prior experience as a prep cook preferred
- Working knowledge of kitchen health and safety standards
- Strong team player with clear communication skills
- Ability to stay calm, patient, and positive under pressure
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
