Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care in an inpatient settings.
- Perform nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Assist with discharge planning and coordination of care for patients.
- Conduct health coaching and patient education to promote wellness and disease prevention.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of results.
- Utilize electronic health record systems, ICanotes, to document patient information and maintain accurate medical records.
Experience:
- Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) with a current valid license.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in behavioral health.
- Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
- Familiarity with specimen collection and processing techniques.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, healthcare providers, and other members of the healthcare team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
