Pinnacle Staffing is seeking a skilled Pump Repair Technician to inspect, repair, rebuild, and test a variety of industrial pumps. This position focuses primarily on electric submersible pumps and vertical turbine pumps, while also supporting the repair of centrifugal, slurry, and other specialty pumps.

Inspect, disassemble, repair, rebuild, and reassemble electric submersible and vertical turbine pumps.
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues involving bearings, seals, impellers, shafts, motors, and other rotating components.
Repair and service centrifugal, slurry, and specialty pumps as needed.
Measure and verify tolerances, clearances, and alignment during assembly.
Replace or refurbish worn or damaged components according to OEM specifications.
Perform pump testing, performance verification, and functional inspections.
Verify motor insulation, electrical continuity, and operational performance.
Document repairs, testing results, and parts used.
Identify root causes of equipment failures and recommend corrective actions.
Safely operate lifting equipment, cranes, and testing equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production schedules and quality standards.
Support field service assignments when needed.
High school diploma or GED.
Minimum of 3 years of experience repairing industrial pumps or rotating equipment.
Experience working on electric submersible pumps and/or vertical turbine pumps.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and repair procedures.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in mining, municipal water, waterworks, or industrial pumping applications.
Electrical troubleshooting experience related to pump motors.
OEM training or manufacturer certifications.
Forklift, crane, or rigging experience.
