Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Route Manager/Delivery professional to lead our delivery operations and ensure exceptional service for our customers. In this role, you will oversee daily route planning, coordinate deliveries, and manage a team of drivers to optimize efficiency and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will drive the success of our delivery network, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional service while maintaining safety standards and operational excellence. Duties
- Plan and organize daily delivery routes to maximize efficiency, reduce costs, and meet customer expectations
- Supervise and motivate a team of commercial drivers, providing coaching and support to enhance performance
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, adhering to safety regulations and company policies
- Communicate effectively with customers to confirm delivery details, resolve issues, and promote upselling opportunities
- Conduct regular vehicle inspections, perform heavy lifting tasks safely, and maintain proper documentation for compliance
- Manage inventory levels on delivery vehicles through merchandising and proper stock rotation
- Utilize pricing knowledge to handle billing discrepancies or customer inquiries related to costs or discounts
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of route driving logistics
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers, team members, and management
- Strong organizational skills to plan routes efficiently and manage multiple deliveries simultaneously
- Knowledge of pricing strategies, upselling techniques, and sales principles to enhance revenue opportunities
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely during deliveries or stock handling tasks
- Familiarity with merchandising practices to ensure proper product presentation during deliveries
- Military experience is considered an asset for discipline, leadership, and operational skills
- Valid driver’s license and CDL with Hazmat, clean driving record; experience with driving large vehicles preferred. Can train towards CDL Hazmat.

Pay: $57,008.57 - $69,429.67 per year
