In this role, you will deliver personalized massage therapies that enhance physical comfort, reduce pain, and improve overall well-being. We are committed to providing a supportive environment where your skills can flourish and make a meaningful impact. Starting schedule is for Sunday and Tuesdays 9-6. Could be more days if desired.
Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments to meet individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to determine appropriate treatment plans and customize sessions accordingly
- Educate clients on self-care practices, pain management strategies, and post-treatment protocols to support ongoing wellness
- Maintain detailed records of client treatments, progress notes, and health histories in compliance with privacy regulations
- Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to sanitation standards and proper equipment maintenance
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their concerns, explain procedures, and foster a relaxing experience
- Stay current with industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education requirements such as CPR certification
Requirements
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with active certification in massage therapy
- Proven experience in providing various massage modalities including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, sports massage, prenatal massage, and medical spa treatments
- Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to accurately assess client needs and deliver effective treatments
- Excellent patient communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to therapeutic massage and pain management practices
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Prior experience working in occupational health or med spa environments is preferred but not required
- Ability to maintain professionalism while managing multiple client sessions in a fast-paced setting
Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
