Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable Personal Care Assistant (PCA) to provide in-home care for a Female Client in Newington. The ideal candidate is patient, dependable, and experienced in providing hands-on personal care while maintaining dignity and respect.
Schedule :
Monday - Friday
11:00 am to 2:00pm
Responsibilities Include:
- Light PCA
- Light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, dishes)
- Meal preparation and assistance with feeding as needed
- Medication reminders (no administration)
- Companionship and emotional support
- Monitoring clients’ condition and reporting changes to family
- Car Needed
Qualifications:
- PCA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Previous caregiving experience required (home care preferred)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift and assist with mobility
- Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy
- Ability to work independently in a private home
- Background check required
