Compensation will be determined based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Compensation:
$30 - $31 hourly
Responsibilities:-
Fit and assemble stainless steel and carbon steel components, including light- and heavy-gauge materials, according to drawings and project specifications.

Read and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate fit-up and assembly.

Measure, mark, and verify material dimensions to confirm accuracy before fabrication.

Inspect parts and completed assemblies to ensure they meet required dimensions, specifications, and company quality standards.

Safely operate fabrication equipment, hand tools, and power tools required to complete assigned work.

Properly use, inspect, and maintain tools and equipment to support safe operation and extend equipment life.

Assist with other shop functions as needed, including painting and related fabrication tasks.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all company safety procedures and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).

This position is safety-sensitive.
Qualifications:-
Previous experience in structural fitting, metal fabrication, welding, manufacturing, or a related field.

Strong structural fitting and fabrication skills with the ability to accurately fit components according to drawings and specifications.

Experience operating fabrication equipment such as hydraulic metal shears, plate rollers, hydraulic metal brakes, and manual metal brakes.

Proficiency with electric and pneumatic angle grinders and other common fabrication tools.

Ability to read, understand, and work from engineering blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication plans.

Strong knowledge of different metals, material properties, and fabrication methods.

Ability to accurately measure, mark, fit, and inspect fabricated components.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

Working knowledge of shop safety practices and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

OSHA 10 Certification required within 60 days of employment.

Painting experience is a plus.

Dependable, safety-minded, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
