Summary:
The Childcare Center Director is responsible for the overall management and operation of the childcare center. This includes ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, as well as managing staff, budget, and regulatory compliance. The Director plays a crucial role in fostering positive relationships with families and the community.

Responsibilities:

Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the childcare center. Ensure compliance with all licensing and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records and reports.

Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate staff. Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing professional development opportunities. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Financial Management: Develop and manage the center's budget and expenses.

Program Development: Support and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities. Ensure the program meets the developmental needs of all children. Evaluate and improve program quality on an ongoing basis.

Family Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with families. Communicate regularly about center activities and important events. Address parent concerns and feedback in a timely manner.

Community Relations: Represent the center in the community. Build partnerships with local organizations and agencies. Promote the center's services and programs.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in childcare or early childhood education.

Previous experience in a leadership or management role preferred.

Child Development Associate (CDA) or be willing to set a goal plan and attain the credential within a reasonable timeframe.
