Wiring Technician / Assembler — Summary:
This role supports control cabinet wiring and assembly for high-voltage equipment by crimping, terminating, and routing wires inside production cabinets. The work is hands-on, detail-focused electrical assembly using connectors, crimpers, 14-18 gauge wiring, and documented wiring practices.
Requirements
- Experience using crimping tools and terminating wires in an assembly, electrical panel, control cabinet, harness, or related production environment.
- Working knowledge of connectors, wire routing, and basic shop practices for 14-18 gauge wiring.
- Ability to follow work instructions, wiring diagrams, schematics, or production documentation accurately.
Responsibilities
- Crimp, terminate, and route wires inside control cabinets according to work instructions and production standards.
- Run cabinet wiring and connect components using proper connector, labeling, and routing practices.
- Inspect completed wiring work for correct placement, secure terminations, and clean cabinet organization before handoff.
Important Notes
- This role is fully onsite near Norwood, MA on a Monday-Friday day shift, typically starting at 6:00 a.m. and ending around 3:30-4:00 p.m.
- This is a production wiring and assembly role focused on control cabinet work, not an electrical apprenticeship or licensed electrician sponsorship path.
- Training is provided on company-specific crimping methods and equipment, but candidates should already be comfortable with basic crimping and wire termination work.
