- Understands the importance of consistency for our clients and their families
Responsibilities
Caregivers may assist clients with daily living needs, including:
- Personal care and hygiene
- Bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Meal preparation and assistance
- Light housekeeping
- Mobility and transfers
- Companionship and emotional support
- Medication reminders, as permitted
- Maintaining a safe and comfortable environment
- Following the client's established care plan
- Communicating important changes or concerns to the appropriate Abide Senior Care contact
Schedule
All shifts are available, including various daytime, evening, overnight, weekend, and other scheduling needs.
Caregivers should only accept shifts they are confident they can fulfill. Reliability and punctuality are essential to maintaining continuity of care for our clients.
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
- Compassionate and respectful attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable transportation
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to safely perform the duties required for the position
- Current CPR certification preferred/required according to assignment
- Background check and other required documentation may be required
