Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with medication preparation
- Manage medication intake, verification, and documentation for inpatient and outpatient settings
- Provide exceptional patient service by answering questions and supporting medication administration processes
- Maintain accurate records of medication dispensing, inventory management, and pharmacy logs
- Support critical care and acute care teams with timely medication delivery and documentation
- Ensure compliance with medical terminology standards during all pharmacy operations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless medication therapy management and patient care
Experience
- Prior pharmacy technician experience in LTC pharmacy is highly preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Critical care experience that highlights your ability to thrive under pressure
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools used in healthcare facilities
