Position Summary
The Lead Sonographer / Imaging Services Manager is a senior clinical and operational role responsible for building, managing, and continuously improving Be Well's imaging program across all locations. This role is equally hands-on and strategic. You will perform studies yourself when needed, develop and lead the imaging team, work directly with our providers and specialist partners, and ensure quality, throughput, and patient experience all meet the Be Well standard. You will also work closely with the billing team, using your working knowledge of imaging CPT and diagnosis codes to ensure clean and accurate reimbursement.
This is a rare opportunity for an experienced sonographer with leadership ambition to step into a lead role at a high-growth, physician-owned practice. You will not just be filling a position. You will be building a department.

Billing and Documentation Integrity
- Work closely with the billing team, using your working knowledge of imaging CPT and diagnosis codes to ensure clean and accurate reimbursement

- Collaborate with the billing team to resolve documentation gaps, coding questions, or claim issues related to imaging
- Train and educate the imaging team on documentation standards that directly affect reimbursement

- Track volume, turnaround times, quality metrics, and team productivity across sites
- Identify opportunities to expand imaging service lines in alignment with provider demand
