CraveKitchen Georgia Tech is opening at the John Lewis Student Center this August—five dining concepts, one great team, right in the middle of campus. We’re hiring part-time now, and we’re specifically looking for reliable individuals who want a professional, collaborative environment and a workplace that genuinely supports them. No prior kitchen experience is required; we will train you on every aspect of the role.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist guests with a friendly, enthusiastic attitude while providing excellent customer service.
- Accurately take orders, process payments through the POS system, and assist guests with menu selections.
- Ensure order accuracy and quality by packing, checking, and coordinating dine-in, takeout, and third-party delivery orders.
- Prepare ingredients according to recipes and prep sheets, and cook and assemble menu items to brand standards.
- Maintain food safety, sanitation, cleanliness, and quality standards in accordance with company policies.
- Safely operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment, including the dishwasher as needed.
- Stock and replenish kitchen stations, dining areas, and service supplies to support daily operations.
- Follow opening and closing procedures and assist with inventory and restocking tasks.
- Stay knowledgeable about menu items, promotions, and restaurant procedures.
- Resolve guest questions and concerns professionally, escalating issues when appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure efficient restaurant operations.
- Demonstrate flexibility by assisting in all areas of the restaurant and completing additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High-energy, guest-focused, team-oriented, and aligned with CraveKitchen's values.
- Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, exercise sound judgment, and consistently adhere to company service standards and operating procedures.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation preferred.
- Must obtain and maintain all required state and local food safety certifications, including a Food Handler Certification.
- Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; frequently bend, stoop, reach, and use hands for repetitive tasks.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests, coworkers, and managers in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for food and health

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
