Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Title Record Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and maintaining property title records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and experience working with real estate or title documentation.
Key Responsibilities

Examine public land records, deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, and other documents to determine property ownership and encumbrances

Research and verify title information using county records, databases, and internal systems

Prepare and update title reports, commitments, and summaries

Identify discrepancies or issues in title documentation and recommend corrective actions

Ensure compliance with company policies, legal guidelines, and industry standards

Maintain accurate records and documentation in internal systems

Communicate findings clearly with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders

Assist in resolving title defects or outstanding issues
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required

1–3 years of experience in title research, real estate, or related field (preferred)

Familiarity with title terminology, property law, and land records

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Excellent organizational and time-management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and title software systems

Strong written and verbal communication skills
