Shop Helper & Delivery Driver
Rocky Mountain Steel is growing—and we’re looking for a dependable, energetic Shop Helper & Delivery Driver to join our Colorado team.
We are a service-focused steel supplier and metal-processing company. As a Hardox Wear Parts Center, we provide a full range of Hardox products and help our customers keep their operations moving with fast, reliable service. What You’ll Do
- Help move steel efficiently through the shop, including assisting with plasma table and press brake operations
- Safely operate our Ram 3500 flatbed truck and 25-foot gooseneck trailer
- Load and unload steel and materials using a forklift
- Make accurate, timely deliveries and provide outstanding service to customers
- Confirm delivery details, communicate professionally with customers, and resolve concerns when they arise
- Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company standards
- Inspect forklifts, maintain required maintenance logs, and coordinate service needs with management
- Keep weekly service records for the truck and trailer
What We’re Looking For
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Experience pulling and maneuvering gooseneck trailers
- Ability to safely lift 50–100 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day
- Forklift experience or willingness to learn
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Dependability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and pride in doing quality work
- Familiarity with steel processing is a plus, but not required
