Warehouse Selector – Distribution Center (Palmetto Location)

Detwiler’s is hiring a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Selector to join our team at our brand-new Distribution Center in Palmetto. This early-morning role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, physically active environment and takes pride in helping ensure our stores receive accurate, on-time deliveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Select and pull refrigerated and dry products according to store orders with a high degree of accuracy
- Verify item quantities, product descriptions, and lot codes before staging for shipment
- Maintain proper rotation of inventory (FIFO) to ensure freshness and reduce waste
- Safely operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment in a cold environment
- Assist with restocking, cycle counts, and general inventory control
- Uphold Detwiler’s high standards of cleanliness, safety, and food handling at all times
Work Environment
- Located in our refrigerated Distribution Center (temperature 33°F)
- Shift begins at 3:00 AM
- Physically demanding role—requires lifting, bending, and working in cold temperatures for extended periods
- Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 100 pounds
**Cold gear will be provided**
Compensation range $16-$19 per hour
