Key Responsibilities and Duties
The Retail Bakery & Café Associate handles both front-of-house operations and product handling:
- Warmly greet customers and effectively answer product questions.
- Accurately process food and beverage orders using a touch screen register and manage cash transactions.
- Manage phone calls and accurately process detailed special orders for pies and other baked goods.
- Expertly cut and package pies, cheesecakes, carrot cakes, and dessert bars with attention to detail.
- Set up, maintain, and break down the attractive pie and baked goods display.
- Prepare coffee and maintain the cleanliness and welcoming atmosphere of the dining room.
Mandatory Qualifications & Position Details
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of previous customer service experience is required.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced retail store setting.
- Required Availability: Must be available for a variety of shifts, including Morning, Mid-Day, and Evening shifts.
- Communication: Comfortable communicating effectively in person and over the phone.
