This is a #hybrid position, working in the office 3 days a week.
You will support the Business Insights and Category Management partnership between Acosta and Campbell’s in a highly visible CPG client environment.
Serve as a Strategic Advisor to Campbell’s Category Leadership and Sales teams by identifying growth opportunities, risks, and business implications that influence customer and category strategy.
Analyze data sources to develop recommendations across product, pricing, promotion, and placement.
Support category reviews, assortment planning, planogram work, and post-review tracking.
Develop and maintain BI tools, dashboards, trackers, playbooks, and executive summaries.
Support sales presentation development for key accounts by assisting with project timelines, coordinating stakeholder input, and shaping insights that support strategic account decisions.
Maintain Campbell’s planning resources, including calendars, TPD tracking, templates, resource sheets, and process documentation.
Monitor KPIs and sales drivers to identify risks, opportunities, and actions.
Build trusted client, internal, and cross-functional relationships to support alignment and execution.
Manage competing priorities while clearly communicating timing, tradeoffs, and next steps.
Summarize analysis through recaps, case studies, success stories, and recommendations.
Support onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing on Campbell’s tools, resources, expectations, and ways of working.
Education Requirements:

High School Diploma/GED, Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)

Related work experience can be substituted for the educational requirement

Category Management Certification Preferred
Work Experience Requirements:
3+ years related work experience
CPG category management experience, including assortment, pricing, promotion, merchandising, and shopper insights.
Proficiency with syndicated data tools such as Circana, NielsenIQ, Numerator, Kantar, and retailer portals.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Experience building reports, dashboards, and planning tools.
Effective communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven project management and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to translate business strategies into retailer-specific execution plans.
High level of professionalism, discretion, and continuous improvement mindset.
