Position Overview: Spanish Trail Country Club is seeking a dedicated and reliable Food Runner and Busser to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our members and guests. The Food Runner and Busser will work closely with the front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure smooth service, maintain cleanliness, and contribute to the overall satisfaction of our patrons.
Responsibilities:
Food Running
· Expedite food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely and efficient manner.
· Ensure that all food items are presented professionally and accurately according to the orders.
· Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure correct items are being delivered to the right tables.
Table Bussing
· Clear tables promptly and efficiently after members have finished their meals, ensuring minimal disruption to their dining experience.
· Remove used dishes, glasses, silverware, and other items from tables to maintain a clean and organized environment.
· Reset tables for new members, including arranging table settings and ensuring proper condiments and utensils are available.
Guest Interaction
· Provide friendly and attentive service to members by answering questions, assisting with special requests, and addressing any concerns they may have.
· Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor while interacting with members, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
Teamwork
· Work closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless coordination of service.
· Communicate effectively to relay information about table status, guest preferences, and any special requests to the appropriate team members.
Requirements
· Prior experience in a Country Club or high-end restaurant (minimum 3 years).
· Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
· Must present a professional, clean appearance.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations.
· Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
· Flexibility in scheduling, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
· Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy trays or bus tubs.
