Warehouse Associate
General Purpose of the Position
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting with day-to-day tasks that help the warehouse operate efficiently. This person will be working at our warehouse managing the inventory and organization of material and assisting in daily operational tasks. Experience is required in a warehouse, plumbing knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Ensure warehouse is clean and organized.
- Assist customers who come into the storefront to purchase material.
- Pull and prepare materials for technicians.
- Receive, verify, stage, and stock all incoming material.
- Use service truck to deliver material by request to job sites.
- Assist the Vice president with his day-to-day responsibilities.
- Knowledge of plumbing parts or willingness to learn.
Requirements
- Knowledge of plumbing material is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills
- Self starter
- Pro-active
- Great communication skills
- Experience in inventory management
- Experience receiving material and putting it away
