Creative Writing and Public Speaking Summer Camp Teacher
Position Summary:
Best Brains Learning Center ,Gilbert Rd (Chandler) is an academic enrichment and summer camp program serving students ages 5-14. We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Creative Writing and Public Speaking Teacher to lead our summer camp classes for elementary and middle school students.
This position is ideal for teachers who enjoy helping students build confidence, creativity, communication skills, and self-expression through fun, interactive activities.
Working Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Desired Skills:
- State Certified Teacher preferred, or equivalent teaching/tutoring experience.
- Experience teaching Creative Writing, Language Arts, Speech, Debate, Drama, Communications, or related subjects.
- Energetic and engaging personality with the ability to make learning fun.
- Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Experience coaching students in storytelling, speeches, presentations, or writing projects is a plus.
- Ability to manage a classroom and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to occasionally discuss student progress with parents.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive at the center on time and prepared for instruction.
- Teach Creative Writing and Public Speaking lessons using our provided curriculum.
- Guide students in developing writing, storytelling, presentation, and communication skills.
- Lead engaging classroom activities, games, and projects.
- Encourage creativity, confidence, teamwork, and self-expression.
- Provide feedback to parents and administration regarding student progress.
- Assist with general classroom management and camp activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
