Duties
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately to process customer transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and assisting with product selection.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the shopping experience and increase sales.
- Perform product demonstrations to highlight features and benefits, encouraging customers to make informed purchases.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising strategies.
- Assist with stocking shelves and managing inventory levels to ensure product availability.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and adherence to company policies.
- Supervise junior staff members as needed, providing guidance and support in daily operations.
- Exhibit strong phone etiquette when responding to customer calls or inquiries.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred.
- Familiarity with basic math concepts for accurate cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and team members.
