About the Role
As our Safety Manager, you will work closely with drivers, dispatch, operations, and leadership to help maintain a safe and compliant workplace. Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting drivers through safety coaching, guidance, and ongoing communication.
- Helping maintain company safety programs and ensuring transportation safety standards are followed.
- Reviewing safety incidents, identifying opportunities for improvement, and helping implement corrective actions.
- Helping protect and maintain company equipment — supporting inspection and maintenance practices that reduce breakdowns, save the company money, and get the most efficiency out of our fleet.
- Working with different departments to promote safe work practices and support daily operations.
- Assisting with driver training, onboarding, and safety-related documentation.
- Building positive relationships with drivers while helping create a culture where safety always comes first.
