Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Lead to join our vibrant food service team! Duties
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure consistency and quality.
- Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff on food handling, safety procedures, POS system, and customer service standards.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety.
- Lead shift management by coordinating staff schedules, delegating tasks efficiently, and maintaining smooth workflow during busy hours.
- Responsibilities include Team management, scheduling and back ups.
- Support restaurant management in budgeting efforts, food production planning, food cost and implementing operational improvements.
Skills
- Proven experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments with strong culinary skills in food preparation and cooking.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising teams, training staff, and managing shifts effectively.
- Proficiency with POS system.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety standards, and sanitation protocols.
- Background in restaurant management with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Experience in fine dining or casual dining settings; banquet or catering experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview potential team members and foster a positive work environment.
- Bilingual English Spanish it’s a must.
