Adventure Club Learning Center has been in operation since 2005. We are a rewarding, fun, and fast-paced childcare center, that offers a positive working team atmosphere. We strive each day to make a difference in the families that we serve, while also having fun with the children!
As our Twos & Three year old teacher, you will be responsible for creating a loving bond with your children and implementing curriculum and learning standards in your classroom. All levels of experience are welcome! We help to get you started in this career field. If you have your CDA or staff credential your pay rate will be increased.
Responsibilities:
- Instruct children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
- Maintain a fun and safe learning environment
- Follow schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
- Perform developmentally appropriate activities in the classroom
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with students, staff, and parents
Qualifications:
- Passionate about working with children
- Positive and patient demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields a plus
We are also currently looking to hire two float teachers to work with children between the ages of infant and ones as well as 2 - 5. The part time shifts available right now are 9:30am - 5:45pm. These assistant teachers will assist the Lead teachers as necessary and take over the classroom in the afternoon. If you are willing to float to different age groups or different centers, your pay will be increased.
You must be able to pass a background check, fingerprinting, and complete the State mandated training classes.
