Job Summary
Park Royal Homestay Club Cala is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounting Clerk to support our Finance Department. This role ensures accurate daily revenue processing, timely vendor payments, and well‑organized financial records that contribute to the smooth operation of our resort in Palmas del Mar. The position offers an excellent opportunity to grow within a fast‑paced, hospitality‑focused accounting environment committed to accuracy, compliance, and excellence.
Availability: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends and holidays as required by operational needs and month‑end closings.
Duties
- Daily Revenue Audit — Reconcile daily income from Front Desk, F&B operations, and other outlets.
- Accounts Payable — Process invoices, match purchase orders, and prepare vendor payments.
- Accounts Receivable — Post payments and assist with guest billing follow‑ups.
- Cash & Bank Reconciliation — Support daily cash counts and monthly bank reconciliations.
- General Ledger Support — Prepare journal entries and assist with month‑end closing tasks.
- Inventory Assistance — Support monthly inventories for F&B, housekeeping, and maintenance.
- Compliance Support — Maintain accurate documentation and support audit processes, ensuring adherence to GAAP and internal controls.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of financial concepts, account reconciliation, and corporate accounting practices.
- Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms.
- Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Kronos) and familiarity with tax and compliance standards.
- High accuracy in data entry, including 10‑key proficiency and double‑entry bookkeeping.
- Ability to analyze accounts, prepare journal entries, and support budgeting or financial analysis.
- Excellent math skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational habits.
- Familiarity with technical accounting practices in hospitality, public accounting, or financial services.
