Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Payroll & Human Resources Coordinator to support the day-to-day administration of payroll, human resources, employee benefits, and general administrative operations. Key Responsibilities Payroll Administration
- Prepare and review payroll information for accuracy and timely processing.
- Audit employee time records and coordinate necessary corrections.
- Process payroll-related documentation, reports, and employee changes.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and maintain payroll records.
- Assist with year-end payroll activities and required reporting.
Human Resources Administration
- Coordinate employee onboarding, orientation, and offboarding activities.
- Maintain accurate and confidential personnel records.
- Administer employee benefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Support employee leave administration and HR documentation.
- Assist with policy acknowledgments, compliance tracking, and employee communications.
- Coordinate pre-employment activities, including background checks and onboarding paperwork.
Administrative Support
- Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business documents.
- Coordinate meetings, maintain calendars, and arrange travel as needed.
- Manage office communications, filing systems, and records.
- Order office supplies and assist with vendor coordination.
- Support leadership with special projects and administrative initiatives.
Business Operations
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
- Assist with internal reporting and documentation.
- Coordinate with outside vendors and service providers.
- Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and organization.
- Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll, human resources, or office administration.
- Experience processing payroll and maintaining employee records.
- Working knowledge of employee benefits administration.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality and handling sensitive employee information.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Preferred
- Experience with payroll, HRIS, and timekeeping software.
- Knowledge of employment practices and HR administration.
- Experience supporting executive leadership.
- Familiarity with employee onboarding and benefits administration.
