STARTING SALARY RANGE: $32.61 - $39.14/hourly

DESCRIPTION: Responsible for supervising integrated facility operations and maintenance for the South Portland Campus. The position shall be responsible for daily supervision of the work of a large, multi-trades workforce, or contract force, engaged in activities associated with the operations, maintenance, custodial/or other operations of the campus. Continually inspects and assesses the conditions of buildings to determine maintenance, repairs or renovation needs. Prioritizes and assigns work orders. Follows up to ensure timely completion and quality of work. Additionally, the position will support and coordinate operations with Central Services. Responsibilities include supervision of personnel, assistance with developing and maintaining departmental and project budgets.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s Degree in Facilities, management or related field

A four (4) year combination of education, training and/or experience in supervisory capacity for large facility with multiple buildings and complex facilities and infrastructure. OR

A eight (8) year combination of education, training and management experience in facilities operations, to include experience in the mechanical trades.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Knowledge of state and local building codes, ordinances

Knowledge of and experience in mechanical and electrical systems

Ability to understand and adhere to college policies, procedures and safety guidelines in the performance of job duties

Computer skills to include MS Office etc
