Overview
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Preschool Teacher to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in guiding early childhood development through engaging lessons, personalized care, and positive interactions. Your enthusiasm will inspire young learners and support their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote literacy, math, physical education, and overall childhood development.
- Create a nurturing classroom environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and social interaction.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using positive reinforcement strategies and behavior management techniques.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns to foster strong partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of child development progress.
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to monitor each child's growth and tailor instruction accordingly.
- Maintain a safe environment by adhering to health protocols including first aid and CPR certifications.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting.
- Strong background in early childhood education principles, including child development instruction and classroom management.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education strategies.
- Knowledge of special education practices, early intervention programs, and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with classroom experience involving toddler care, physical education activities, and childcare routines.
- Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and team collaboration.
- Demonstrated understanding of mandated reporting laws related to child welfare.
- Prior experience in private or daycare settings is preferred; certification in first aid and CPR is required or willing to obtain upon hire.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
