We are seeking qualified and professional interpreters to provide accurate and culturally appropriate language interpretation services. The ideal candidate will facilitate clear communication between individuals who speak different languages while maintaining confidentiality, impartiality, and professionalism.
Languages Needed
We are currently hiring interpreters fluent in one or more of the following languages:
- Spanish
- Lingala
- Swahili
- Kinyarwanda
- Portuguese
- Arabic
- Somali
Key Responsibilities
- Provide accurate oral interpretation between English and the assigned language.
- Facilitate effective communication in a professional and respectful manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with all privacy regulations.
- Interpret conversations without adding, omitting, or altering the intended meaning.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and professionalism at all times.
- Arrive on time and be prepared for scheduled assignments.
- Complete required documentation, if applicable.
Qualifications
- Fluency in English and at least one of the listed languages.
- Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
- Previous interpreting experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of cultural differences and professional ethics.
- Ability to remain neutral and maintain confidentiality.
- Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interpreter certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience interpreting in medical, legal, educational, or community settings.
- Ability to work in person, remotely, or by phone, depending on assignment needs.
