Position Requirements
- Class A CDL required
- Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience
- 2 years of related experience or training preferred
- Must pass a driving test
- Must pass an MVR review
- No moving violations within the past 3 years
- No DUI/DWI within the past 3 years; older cases may be reviewed case-by-case
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must pass a pre-employment physical
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and overtime
- Must be willing to work outdoors in extreme temperatures
- Must follow DOT, OSHA/MSHA, and company safety requirements
Job Duties
- Operate dump trucks and drive to loading sites to haul aggregates and materials
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain required vehicle and mileage logs
- Follow dispatch instructions and applicable laws
- Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment
- Report major equipment problems to the Foreman
- Keep truck clean and orderly
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Perform general labor duties when necessary
PAY & SCHEDULE
$20.00/hour + Overtime
- Approximately 60–65 hours per week
- Sunday evening start, approximately 5:30–6:30 PM until work is completed
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and overtime
- Ability to drive up to 10 hours per day
- Ability to work up to 70 hours per week
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must be able to:
- Sit, stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- Enter and exit trucks using three points of contact
- Lift up to 40 pounds
- Perform vehicle inspections
- Reach overhead and manipulate arms and shoulders to lift the concrete chute
- Clean trucks using wash equipment
- Work outdoors in hot and cold temperatures
