Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology License in Texas required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) welcomed
- Experience in pediatric or school-based settings preferred, ideally with elementary-aged students
- Strong assessment, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to provide both direct therapy and supervision to support staff, including SLPA
- Commitment to fostering growth and communication skills in a diverse student population
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct therapy sessions targeting speech, language, and communication needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Oversee and mentor 1 SLPA, ensuring effective therapist-student support
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families
- Maintain detailed records of student progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary school teams
