TGTG is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist to support digital transformation within the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Financial Services Center.
Within the FSC, the Financial Technology Service (FTS) is responsible for all Information Technology including requirements analysis and sizing, backlog management, scrum team governance, incremental/sprint planning, business value, dependency management, risk and impact analysis, scheduling, budget vs actual labor reporting, configuration management, testing, infrastructure operations, application modernization, cyber security, process improvement, and Agile Release Train orchestration.
FTS?s IT products address a broad array of VA?s enterprise requirements including timekeeping and payroll; accounting; financial reporting and auditing; healthcare claims processing; accounts payable and payment processing; employee travel and charge card; employee relocation; financial data analytics; and financial integration.
This role can be performed in Austin, TX or fully remote.
Primary Responsibilities
The Cybersecurity Specialist must have IT experience with Cyber Security Policy and threat mitigation along with knowledge and experience in Cyber Security Tools, network topologies, intrusion detection, PKI, and secured networks. Knowledge of implementation and security levels and roles necessary for successful deployment.
- Design, develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and operating procedures in support of documentation needs that exist for all tools
- Work closely with product, development, and sustaining teams
- Provide support for all integrations with other cybersecurity tools
- Perform highly complex (senior-level) information security analysis work
- Coordinate and/or plan, implement, and monitor security measures for information systems and infrastructure to regulate access to computer configuration and data files and to prevent unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure of information
- Plan and deploy continuous automated security compliance capabilities
- Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to protect data systems and databases from unauthorized access
- Participate in the development of information technology disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Support and manage information security and risk management awareness and training programs
- Perform related work as assigned
