Currently looking for First shift with every other weekend in the Watertown area. We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Caregiver to provide dedicated support to individuals with disabilities. In this vital role, you will create a safe, nurturing environment while assisting with daily activities, personal care, and developmental needs. Full time and part time available
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive care to people with disabilities, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Assist with daily routines such as feeding, bathing, dressing, and hygiene management
- Support development through engaging activities, teaching, and behavior management strategies
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to emergencies or health concerns
- Foster a positive environment by encouraging social interaction, playtime, and learning experiences
- Collaborate with families, teachers, or healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, health updates, and developmental progress
- Drivers license is required as you will be driving between locations during the day.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children or individuals with disabilities in settings such as caregiving roles
- Certification in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members
- Ability to manage behavior positively and implement classroom or care routines effectively
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for nurturing others’ growth and well-being
