About the role
Francison Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced Scheduler IV to join our established Project Controls division supporting the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) — one of the largest community college construction programs in the nation.
This position is based at Los Angeles Harbor College and plays a critical role in managing and monitoring project schedules across active capital construction programs.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation of project schedules based on defined project execution philosophies
- Perform contractor schedule reviews for contract conformance and quality assurance
- Evaluate contract change orders and amendments for impact on budget and schedule
- Perform time impact analysis of project schedule delays and potential claims
- Participate in change order negotiations
- Perform Critical Path and Earned Value analyses
- Identify schedule-related problems and recommend corrective actions and creative solutions
- Review contractor weekly and monthly schedule progress; prepare and present findings to management
- Perform cost analysis in support of the design and construction phases of capital projects
- Prepare a cost-loaded schedule to support comprehensive cash flow projections
Minimum qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in project or program scheduling on large construction programs
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field (experience may substitute)
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of cost engineering theories, principles, and scheduling practices
- Experience with time impact analysis and construction claims/change orders
- Ability to travel to multiple project sites as required

Pay: $190,000.00 - $195,000.00 per year
