Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Remodeler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various aspects of construction and remodeling, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality workmanship. This role requires proficiency in reading blueprints, utilizing hand and power tools, and executing a wide range of tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and more. The Remodeler will work on diverse projects, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to understand project requirements.
- Perform carpentry tasks such as frame carpentry, trim carpentry, door hanging, and cabinet installation.
- Execute plumbing and electrical installations as needed for remodeling projects.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks including flooring installation, tile laying, and concrete finishing.
- Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Operate heavy equipment when necessary for specific project needs.
- Engage in restoration work including plastering, stucco application, masonry, and hardscape installations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on the construction site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in remodeling or construction with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in using Bluebeam for project management and documentation.
- Strong understanding of construction management principles including estimating costs and timelines.
- Experience with concrete forming, caulking, welding, glass installation, and restoration techniques is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools safely; knowledge of heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work performed.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members.
