SALARY: $13.27 per hour
SUMMARY: The Outside Player Assistant is responsible for supporting daily on-course operations by managing golf cart staging, maintenance, and overall outside service functions. This position helps ensure a smooth experience for golfers through efficient cart operations, course support, and professional customer interaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Stage golf carts daily and ensure all carts are clean, charged, and ready for use.
- Clean, maintain, and secure golf carts throughout the day and at closing.
- Monitor cart battery condition and overall cart functionality.
- Maintain the cart barn and outside service areas to ensure a safe, organized, and professional environment.
- Assist golfers with cart assignments and basic course orientation as needed.
- Maintain trash receptacles, ball washers, and water stations throughout the course.
- Refill water coolers and restock cups as needed.
- Clean and organize rental club sets, ensuring all clubs are accounted for.
- Report cart or operational issues to the Golf Shop Manager or supervisor.
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education.
- Three years’ experience in golf operations.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY:
Working knowledge of City or County government a plus
CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, REGISTRATION:
- Valid Indiana Driver’s License required if driving City vehicle.
