American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post-Partum position requiring at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency for a night shift contract in the greater Seattle area.

Inpatient Mother-Baby/Couplet Care/Post-Partum unit within a hospital setting
-
Patient population includes post-partum vaginal and cesarean delivery, GYN surgeries, couplet care, low-risk antepartum, and transition nursery care
-
Procedures and care include tubal ligation, circumcision, CPAP/BiPAP, blood/blood products administration, cooling/warming blankets, 12-lead EKG, wound vac, epidural pumps, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, and drains
-
Medication administration includes heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
-
OB-GYN, post-op, and scrub experience is required, including the ability to circulate and scrub C-sections and attend all deliveries

Schedule is nights, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)

Weekend availability required to meet staffing needs

Floating may be required to NICU or L&D, and travelers are expected to float between all facilities within Washington state

EMR: Epic (required)

Active WA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand

Current certifications required: BLS and NRP

Minimum 2 years of Mother-Baby/Post-Partum RN experience required

Experience with LDRP, low-risk antepartum, low-risk L&D, and scrubbing/circulating C-sections required

Proficiency with Epic EMR required

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration

Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
-
Former permanent staff of this Providence facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem), including location and dates
-
Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; limited time-off requests may be considered
-
Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
