Beacon Generators is looking for dependable installers to join our growing team. We specialize in residential and light commercial standby generator systems — and we take pride in clean, professional installations that last.
Our services include:
- Standby generator installation (Generac and similar systems)
- Automatic transfer switch (ATS) installation
- Electrical system integration for residential and light commercial customers
- Coordination of generator setup including electrical and gas components
We combine hands-on experience with a fast-paced, customer-focused approach to deliver reliable power solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Install residential standby generator systems from start to finish
- Install and wire automatic transfer switches (ATS)
- Set and secure generators on pads
- Run and terminate electrical feeders and control wiring
- Assist with coordination of gas connections (LP/Natural Gas)
- Ensure all work meets local and national electrical codes
- Maintain clean, organized job sites
- Work with a team that values efficiency, communication, and accountability
You’ll Be A Great Fit If You:
- Hold a Texas Journeyman Electrician License or Apprentice License
- Have at least 1 year of installation experience (generator or electrical)
- Have experience with:
- Electrical panels, disconnects, and service equipment
- Running conduit and pulling wire
- Equipment installation and job site setup
- Take pride in clean, professional work
- Show up on time and follow through
- Have a valid driver’s license
Bonus Points If You Have:
- Experience installing standby generator systems
- Experience with LP (propane) gas systems
- LP certification or licensing
- Ability to handle both electrical and basic gas components of an install
- Familiarity with Generac equipment

Pay: $25.50 - $30.71 per hour
