Job Summary:
The Pool Server/Pool Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and attentive service to guests to ensure a positive poolside experience. This role includes greeting guests, passing out towels and arranging lounge chairs
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests promptly and professionally upon arrival.
- Present menus and explain food and beverage offerings.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS systems.
- Deliver orders efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.
- Anticipate guest needs before being asked.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and resolve minor service issues.
- Upsell premium cocktails, wines, cabanas, and specialty menu items.
- Process guest checks and payments accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining and lounge areas.
- Comply with responsible alcohol service regulations.
Pool Attendant Responsibilities
- Set up and arrange lounge chairs, umbrellas, towels, and cabanas.
- Escort guests to available seating areas.
- Maintain pool deck cleanliness throughout the day.
- Provide fresh towels and remove used towels promptly.
- Monitor inventory of towels, amenities, and supplies.
- Assist with cabana preparation and VIP guest amenities.
- Ensure pool furniture is clean and properly positioned.
- Enforce pool rules courteously and professionally.
- Report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness concerns immediately.
- Monitor pool occupancy and guest comfort.
Qualifications
- Previous serving or customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong multitasking and organizational abilities.
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol (if applicable).
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift trays, plates, and other items up to 25 lbs.
