Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our 1st shift production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce precision components that meet customer specifications and quality standards. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to safety and quality.
Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, or machining centers.
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
- Load programs and make minor offsets and tooling adjustments as needed.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and gauges.
- Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met.
- Change tooling and replace inserts as needed to maintain production efficiency.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot basic machining issues.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and keep work areas clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with supervisors, engineers, and quality personnel to improve processes and productivity.
