Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Deck Builder to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, and installing durable decks that enhance outdoor living spaces. Your expertise in carpentry, metal building erection, and concrete forming will be vital to delivering high-quality projects on time and within scope. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse residential and commercial projects, utilizing your hands-on skills and construction knowledge to create beautiful, functional decks that meet client specifications.
We also do alot more then just building decks. We install pools. Excavation and home remodeling. We will pay you what your worth
Duties
- Construct decks using a variety of materials including wood, metal studs, siding, and stucco, ensuring precise framing and alignment
- Install metal building components, rebar for reinforced concrete elements, and perform concrete forming and finishing as needed
- Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and machinery safely and efficiently throughout the construction process
- Manage site safety protocols, coordinate with team members and subcontractors, and ensure adherence to project timelines
- Perform masonry work such as plastering or stucco application when required for aesthetic or structural purposes
- Conduct roofing installation or repair on deck structures when applicable, ensuring weatherproofing and durability
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on carpentry, framing, metal stud framing, or remodeling projects
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety procedures on construction sites
- Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry work including stucco or plastering
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with roofing techniques, siding installation, trim carpentry, restoration work, and woodworking skills
- Knowledge of construction management principles to coordinate tasks effectively across multiple phases of project completion
