Compensation and Benefits
Competitive Pay
- Crew members - $18 - $23+ an hour (Negotiable, based on verifiable experience and other factors)
- Crew leaders - $23 - $28+ an hour (Negotiable, based on verifiable experience and other factors)

WESSCAPES: A LANDSCAPE TRANSFORMATION COMPANY
Wesscapes is a full-service outdoor contracting company specializing in landscape and hardscape design, installation and maintenance. We are a forward thinking company that values its employees, customers, and community at large. We are looking for experienced or “willing-to-learn” landscape and hardscape technicians who are motivated, hardworking individuals with a passion to succeed, an eye for detail, and a desire to grow within our company. Experience is preferred but not mandatory. We will train within.
Applicants Must Meet the Following Requirements:
- A four-year high school diploma or equivalent GED
- Valid Drivers’ License that must be maintained for duration of employment. Abstract will be required upon hire.
- This is necessary to become a company driver. If you don’t have a license, you can still apply but your position will be tailored to this.
- Ability to work in most weather conditions, including light rain, heat, cold, wind, snow, etc.
- Ability to perform heavy, physical labor on a daily basis. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to effectively operate basic landscaping equipment such as chainsaws, string trimmers, hedge pruners, etc.
- Pruning and trimming experience is a plus
- Knowledge of plants/ landscaping/ hardscaping a plus
- Familiar with mobile app based work orders and record keeping a plus. MUST HAVE A SMARTPHONE.
Job Details (Including but not limited to):
- Mowing and String trimming
- Prune/Trim shrubs
- Shrub/ Tree planting
- Edging of landscaping beds (either by hand or with a machine)
- Weeding of landscape beds
- Bark mulch installation
- Hardscape construction (paver patios, retaining walls, walkways, etc.)
- Digging and Raking
- Must be able to work outside in all temperatures, reasonable weather conditions, standing and walking for long periods of time.
- Using a wheelbarrow to transport moderate to heavy debris from point A to point B
- Monday-Friday 7:00 AM to 4-5:30 PM, Sat. work required when necessary due to inclement weather or heavy work schedule.
- 40-60 Hours Weekly, varies based on time of year and company schedule
- Must be able to Lift/Carry/Push 50 lbs. when Necessary
- Random upon suspicion, and Post-accident, Employer-Paid Drug testing required.
- Own Transportation to shop is required, Transportation to and from work sites from shop location will be provided using company vehicles.
Position Start Date: Late March/ Early April, weather permitting
Position End Date: Late November/ December, weather permitting. We offer year round work in snow management and other services to some of our team members.
