Responsibilities:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pound bags of laundry.
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to hotel standards
- Operate commercial laundry equipment and follow safety procedures
- Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the supervisor
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Assist with inventory management and stock control of linens and supplies
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to ensure timely delivery of clean linens to guest rooms
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to laundry operations
Skills:
- Previous experience working for a dry cleaner or industrial laundry.
- Knowledge of laundering techniques and proper handling of different fabrics
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
