What We're Looking For
We aren't looking for someone who can simply "do electrical work."
We're looking for the best.
The ideal candidate:
- EXPERIENCE 7+ years preferred in commercial/industrial settings
- Can accurately troubleshoot without guessing
- Understands residential, commercial, and industrial systems
- Understands installation of commercial, industrial and residential electrical services of all sizes
- Reads blueprints and electrical schematics
- Is comfortable working independently
- Has excellent customer service skills
- Takes pride in craftsmanship
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Motor controls
- VFDs
- PLC troubleshooting
- Generators
- Service upgrades
- Infrared inspections & Power Analysis
What You'll Do
As a Service Technician, you'll work on everything from residential service calls to commercial and industrial electrical systems.
One day you may be diagnosing a nuisance tripping breaker in a home, the next you could be troubleshooting a failed motor control circuit, replacing a service, repairing switchgear, installing EV chargers, or solving power quality issues in an industrial facility.
You'll be expected to:
- Diagnose electrical problems safely and accurately.
- Perform repairs that meet or exceed NEC requirements.
- Communicate findings clearly with customers and management.
- Set up sales opportunities for additional repairs when appropriate.
- Complete clean, accurate and organized documentation of work completed.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- Represent Southeast Electric with integrity on every job.
- Certain commercial, industrial, healthcare, education, and government customers require a clean background check before granting site access.
NOTE: Technicians must be eligible to meet these customer requirements when assigned.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces as required
