The Pet Supplies Plus Concord and Oakville stores are locally owned and operated by Golden Road Pet Company, a local family-owned business and independent Pet Supplies Plus franchisee. As pet owners ourselves, we know pets are family, and we care deeply about serving the people and pets in our community. The Roles
Our Store Team Members work in three primary roles: Cashier, Stocker, and Animal Care. While team members may spend more time in one area, we prefer to cross-train team members to work comfortably in all three.
Did you know bearded dragons can grow up to two feet long? Or that betta fish prefer to swim alone? Our team members are pet lovers—and we like to know it all!
As a Store Team Member, you’ll be pawsitively passionate about people and their pets. You may:
- Greet neighbors and help them choose the perfect food, toy, treat, or harness
- Compare product labels and answer questions in person or over the phone
- Accurately process purchases, explain the Pet Supplies Plus Rewards benefits, and prepare online pickup orders
- Unload deliveries, stock shelves, assist with price changes, and carry purchases to neighbors’ vehicles
- Feed and safely handle store pets, clean their habitats, and report any signs of illness or injury
- Keep the store clean, organized, and safe for neighbors, teammates, and pets
All team members support one another and act as backup whenever an extra set of paws is needed. Are you awesome? No—you’re more than that. You’re PAWsome!

Position Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years old
- Friendly, dependable, punctual, and willing to learn
- Able to work some evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to lift and carry 40–50 pounds for the Stocker role, with assistance or equipment when appropriate
- Comfortable safely handling animals and performing routine habitat care
- Able to perform the essential duties of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
Previous retail or pet-care experience is helpful, but it isn’t required. We can teach pet knowledge and store procedures. Bring a strong work ethic, a welcoming attitude, and a desire to make a pawsitive difference.
