Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $19.00–$23.75/hour (base pay), plus shift differentials

Schedule: Full-Time | 40 hours per week

Shift: Day Shift, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Rotation: Consistent two-week rotating schedule with every other weekend required

Position Summary
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you will provide hands-on care and support to residents under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You'll assist with daily living activities, promote comfort and dignity, help maintain a safe environment, and build meaningful relationships with the residents you serve.

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.

Measure and record vital signs, weights, food intake, and other resident information accurately.

Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.

Safely assist residents with transfers using wheelchairs, walkers, mechanical lifts, and other equipment.

Support restorative care and resident activities as directed.

Help maintain clean, organized resident rooms and common areas.

Communicate changes in resident condition promptly to the Charge Nurse.

Document resident care accurately and timely.
-
Follow all safety procedures, infection control practices, and regulatory standards.

Participate in required training, staff meetings, and continuing education.

Provide compassionate, respectful, and resident-centered care while creating a positive experience for residents and their families.
Qualifications
Required
-
Current Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license
-
High school diploma or GED
-
Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification
-
Ability to communicate effectively in English

Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills

Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:

Stand and walk for extended periods

Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, and reach

Lift up to 50 pounds

Push and pull resident equipment

Safely assist residents with mobility and transfers
